Wait'a Minute...

Finding look-a-likes is one of my favorite things. i tend to be able to find someone anywhere, that reminds me of someone I know. It must drive people crazy (including myself), that I exclaim 20,308,430,999 times a day, "They remind me of/look like someone." Its the worst when I can't pin point it. Usually when I do figure who they look like, no one else agrees anyways. I get so excited when I find a good look-a-like.

Today in my waste-two-hours-of-my-day research, I found a slide show someone had put together of athlete to actor look-a-likes. Boy. Oh Boy, was I excited. I was going to put this one to the test. It was pretty darn awesome...and i thought to myself, I really wouldn't mind that job. :] Finding Pictures of Celebrities all day and comparing them with others, having success, and therefore creating a sweet slideshow on MSN, to suck in look-a-like suckers like me and waste their time to. MAN. Livin' the Dream 101 that would be. But..... I think I will keep my job :]

Anywaazzzz, here is one of my favorite pictures from that slideshow.
(Simply because it made me bust a gut!)

"Heyyyyy." & "CHEESE."

Oh, and don't forget our Honorary Dignitary of the day.

HANDSOME? YES, quite.
Okay, Okay...I know everyone knows of his shockingly new and attractive digs. But I just can't seem to get over it. Therefore Mr. Neville Longbottom, takes the WIN.

The Hur.

There comes a point with hair when ya just get bored. I am at this stage right now...But at the same time I can't decide what to do different with it! Dang it. Stuck in a hair rut again. Then again, as I have done some research I found this little beauty of a Haircut.....

Honestly it is not much different than what i have had before...but I'm diggin it! maybe with little more of an A-Line. And then there is the option of growing it out more or the fun option of adding color.... WE SHALL SEE.

Have a Rockin' Monday. I survived, hope you do too :]

FOURTH and FAITH

LET FREEDOM RING. Meet twin, bub-roosk// our own personal holiday cheer-mister.

JULY 4, Easily one of my favorite days of the year. Although I am one to say, that every holiday is my favorite...the fourth really is top ranked. Growing up, I spent all of my "Fourth's" in Provo. I think that Fourth of July in Provo, is a major reason why I have such fond feelings for it(both the holiday and the place). :] There is just such a patriotic aura about Provo during the week of the fourth- everything that happens, and every hour of that week are spent comemorating our beautiful and unique country. Preparations in Provo begin early, and the finished product really is magic. Since we couldn't be in Provo this year for the fourth, we decided to make a just as magical Fourth of July, VEGAS STYLE!

We started our holiday off the night before, with a sleepover at auntie's house. We ate, swam, and watched a movie until...too late. We met parents at the Summerlin parade the next morning, and boy was I stoked. PARADES ARE MY FAVORITE. Yes. Lucky for me, my family sat right behind the little old lady with my same EXACT outift on. Yes, It made me die of laughter. Yes, i deserved it. My mom said to me before I bought it that it kind of looked like a grandma shirt...MORAL OF THE STORY:
1. Listen to Momma.
2. That's What you get for shoppin at Walmarto.
She went by the name of TWIN for the rest of the parade.

After the Parade we headed home for some breaky/lunch-ish. I guess we call that brunch. Anyhow, it was awesome. Grandma's secret recipie buttermilk waffles, ( with red, white, and blue toppings ;]) and we were all happy campers. We went shopping and swimming, and ate. and cooked. And ate. Later in the afternoon, my family had the opportunity to go and see the movie 17 MIRACLES, that is showing here in Vegas for a limited time. I had heard awesome things about it, and was so beyond excited. It was the perfect thing to do on Independence day. Never have I watched a movie that taught me so much, and made me feel so much. It depicted the stories of incredible faith in the Lord, and the miracles wrought by the Lord. I think the theatre cleaners wondered what in the world was going on, as they walked into a quiet theatre, filled with the spirit, as teary LDS families exited the room. It is a must see.

We finished our night off with watching fireworks,up at CHS. It was the most awesome view of the valley, as you could see fireworks exploding up all over the city.

Jen's Homemade Fro-Yo.

Greek Yogurt
Lime Zest
Lime Juice

& Sweet and Condensed milk
All topped off with toasted (& blue :]) coconut, and raspberries.

& white choclate dipped strawberries, with blue sprinkles were on the menu too ;]

Time. Time. Time.

{the little cheetah beauts are my little fabric cutting pride and joys, courtesy of Momma J.}

Being home, I have had ALOT of time on my hands. For me, Productive and effective use of my time/accomplishing and crossing off tasks on my to do lists is the most satisfying feeling. I have the great ability of wasting time, and this summer I am DETERMINED to fix that! I decided to take advantage of the carefree time I have in my favorite place. I mean, extensive naps every day after work, and finishing an entire television series in one day is AWESOME...but my goal is to take advantage of the time I have available to improve myself, and serve. I get so excited just thinking about all the things I can/will do during the day while I am at work. I have missed being creative, and taking on fun projects, and learning new things! These feelings have been inspired by two of my favorite Mormon Messages, (Create and Choose This Day) that I have watched quite a bit recently, and strangely enough by two websites that can be quite the time wasters some days...Pininterst and Food Gawker.

They have really got me stoked to get creative again...cooking and crafty-shtuff. They reminded me how much I love and enjoy CREATING. These websites both allow you to save any ideas you like that others put on the website or that you find, so yo ucan refer back and remember them! I have plans this summer, to use many of the fun ideas I find! They also make me so excited for school in the fall- to make things for my new apartment, for my friends, and fun recipe and party ideas to use in the future!

Speaking of Projects...here is the SNEAK PEEK to my latest.

{very small sneak peek. ;]}

In trying to use the best of my time, I am seeking for more service opportunities, Trying to use more time to study the gospel, and strengthen myself and those around me, and to avoid the phrase "Someday I will." I have found procrastination to be one of Satan's greatest tools...and I am guilty of it! I will "Choose to Serve The Lord This Day." This video Below, is one that I mentioned above. The music, and the message inspire to live better every day. Enjoy :]

Choose This Day.

Nike.

Meet the NIKE FREE 2's. I don't know why I fall in love with shoes so easily...probably becuase I can really on my shoe size never to change. :] I LOVE THESE. Quite the beaut's, eh? At the end of Winter Semester at BYU, I started excercising regularly again, and really fell in love with it. It was a nice break from worrying about things, or racking my brain with homework... and I started to feel a whole lot better! Since I have been home I started running again and never before have I been the one to say I really enjoy it but... I really enjoy running!! It is hard...but worth it! Calee, my family, and I try and go out every night to get our run/walk/ do something on! Nike has a couple of iPhone Apps. for exercising that got me so stoked! my current favorite is the Nike + GPS, where you can track how far you run, your time, calories burnt, and compare all of that information between runs...now thats what I'm talkin about! And besides that...I love all their gear! All of the fun stuff makes me look forward to exercising even more! I hope to invest in one of their sweet t-shirts too...they all make me laugh.

"You said tomorow, YESTERDAY."
JUST DO IT.
:]

BIT about DIP.

Lets talk about it. DIP or what I like to call// have called since I was little, "BIP". Call it what you may...Sauce, dressing, dip...I LOVE IT. Ever since I was little "Bip" has been a VITAL part of every snack and meal. I have been thinking about it lately and I just don't know why...it's just on of those quorky things... :] It [DIP] is one of those things that you just can't go without. It brings a little more life to the food, and enhances the flavors. Kind of a strange-r obsession, straying from the usual soda craving, sweet tooth, etc,etc...I know...Just Kind of Weird. As i think about it, I know that all forms of dip are just empty calories...abosolutely necessary empty calories that is. Some chose to invest their calorie useage into cookies and candy galore...but dip is simply my calorie waster of choice... Fry Sauce to Ranch, Aritichoke dip to Ketchup, Barbeque Sauce to Sour Cream. Dip, my friends is always a good Idea.

HAPPY DIPPING!

Summertime.

Summertime. In my kind of paradise. I am officially home in the 702, with my family, my little Winston puppy, my bed , fridge, shower, couches, and, my kind of sunshine. My family always teases me that every movie is my favorite movie, or that every song is my favorite song...in some cases this is the truth! This is the same with Provo, and Las Vegas. Both are home to me in some form, both have different aspects of life and diferent pleasures in store. I love being content,o I choose to be wherever I am, but still progressing. I read something from general conference that instructed us to have balanced contentment! I ad never tought about that before...that if we are too content we cease to work to progress! I loved that! Provo, in the fall is going to be the best...But I am beyond HAPPY to be home with my family, at HOME! :]

This summer has many fun plans in store for it, including Disneyland with my family, California, work, work, work, and completeing my summer to-do-list!

1. Train for a MINI Triathalon
2. Read Five Books
3.Get Tan again :]
4. Watch Alias seasons
5. Learn a little Piano
6. Learn a song on guitar
7. Sew a dress or Purse from DI fabric
8. Make 6 Aprons :]
9. Set up a budget
10. Index
11. Temple Trips with Aspen and Sky
12. Read the Book of Mormon
13. Jane Austen Day :]
14. Catch up my scrapbook
15. Tennis Once a week
16. Anne of Green Gables Day :]

Lots to do! :] But I am so excite about it. I took a REcreation Management class this past semester that really taught me alot about life. It taught me to be all enjoying of life, to be like a little child, not childish, but to not take life to seriously! Of course we must be serious about life, but not to much! I learned to take advantage of living, smile, laugh, and influence others to do so as well! We have complete control over our health, and leisure is a way to help improve and maintain good health and spirits! I loved so much the general conference talk given by Sis. Stevens as she addressed us about being as the little children. They are so wonderful and great examples for us to follow.

The Savior is our ultimate example, and because of him, and his atonement will live and will be able to continue living with our father, and families in the eternities. Happy Easter, and a beautiful summertime.
